Predators coach Barry Trotz continued to field questions regarding the suspension of star forwards Alexander Radulov and Andrei Kostitsyn. Barry Trotz stated in a confrence after the Predators practice prior to Game 3 in Nashville that he knew nothing about Radulov and Kostitsyn prior to the start of game two. He basically said If he knew about Radulov and Kostitsyn late night actions all hell would have froze over and they definately wouldn’t have played in Game 2.
Both players have already been ruled out for tonights game which starts at 9pm eastern time. He also stated that if the Predators lineup puts on a strong performance in tonights game, he wouldn’t promise a spot for both men in future games to come.
The Nashville Predators need to put all of this drama behind them and focus on the game because if they don’t capture game 3 on their home ice, Nashville Fan’s dream of seeing the Confrence finals and beyon will be an afterthought.
